How it works ?
Our Ultimate Kit comes complete with a mini blue laser light unit. (but of course the unit can also be purchased seperately if required, as can all our products). Press the white button on the blue light unit. You will see a blue light being emitted from the front of the unit, then this can be held in front of the mouth tray or placed into the mouth in front of the tray. The blue light units have a timer of 10 minutes so if using for longer periods then the button will need to be reset.
A specially formulated teeth bleaching gel combined with blue light technology works rapidly to remove surface and embedded tooth stains such as those caused by tea, coffee, red wine and discolouration due to smoking and ageing
The Treatment
Simply syringe a line of tooth bleaching gel into the specially moulded tooth tray and place it in your mouth. Turn the blue light unit on and hold in front of the teeth as described above, for 10 minutes. The use of the light helps breakdown the tooth bleaching gel and ensures a quicker whitening process.Once you have completed the treatment remove the unit from your mouth. For maximum results you can repeat the light treatment up to three times in one session.
How soon will I start seeing the results?
In most cases you will start to see results immediately after the first treatment. It is not unusual for teeth to whiten by several shades during the first few applications. However, results do vary from user to user. Yellow stains respond very quickly and dramatically in comparison to dull, blue/grey stains which are poor to respond. If you have particularly deep staining to your teeth a number of treatments may be required.
How often should I top-up with treatments once I have reached my teeth whitening goal?
This will depend on your age and diet. If you continue to eat the foods and drinks which have caused staining to your teeth your teeth will re-stain over time. Initially the treatment is safe to use daily for the first month. Once you have reached your goal we recommend top-up treatments once a month, providing you take proper care of your teeth as instructed by your dentist and in this leaflet.
Can I use Blue Light Teeth Whitening on caps and crowns?
The Tooth bleaching gels will only whiten natural teeth but they are safe to use on false teeth. You will need to have any false teeth replaced if you want them to match your new white teeth.
Is the kit harmful in any way?
The tooth bleaching gel uses stain removers which are of a food grade and are blended to a safe strength. The blue light causes no damage to the teeth or gums and provided the kit is used in the correct way by following the instructions provided there is no cause for concern.
